I have updated Ubuntu: sudo apt update && sudo apt -y full-upgrade
and the warnings at the end appear (actually this warnings appeared
several times during few weeks/months and today I decided to report bug
report):
W: Possible missing firmware /lib/firmware/i915/kbl_guc_ver
In both cases "low graphic mode" true or false the "tab switcher" background is
too transparent too.
This happened to me first time and I am using Ubuntu more then 10 years
(different versions of course but the same! laptop).
I pressed Alt key and hold and then press Tab key. Still holding Alt k
Now I have turned off low graphic mode in terminal:
gsettings set com.canonical.Unity lowgfx false
And ever worse problem appeared with launcher icons becoming black. I
restarted computer and problem persists. See attachment.
If I turn on lowgfx again with:
gsettings set com.canonical.Unity lowgf

That's it! On firejail web page there is statement that this is bug in
PulseAudio 7.0, but it looks like it effects PulseAudio 8.0 also,
getting version by typing: pulseaudio --version
Work-around solution described in your firejail.wordpress.com link fixes
the problem.

Hi,
on Ubuntu 16.04 I have installed VLC media player 2.2.2 from official
repository.
1. File | Open and select some video.
2. Video starts playing but pop-up error appears:

I was unable to solve this problem and trying to fix this looking around
the web and finally I have manage to broke my system to the
unrecoverable state and so was force to wipe out Ubuntu 14.04 and I
decided to fresh install Ubuntu 16.04.
