as for frequency, I would say it's a little random, but seems to happen

I am almost positive this is now bug 1511095
i said earlier i didn't see a crash file, but that's b/c there was one already
there.
but i just witnessed a "reboot", quickly checked the time and there is a u-s-c
crash file associated with what i witnessed
just saw on N4, unforuntately no dbg loaded
also had all the dbg symbols loaded and caught the u-s-c crash file
created at the exact same time

I've witnessed this so often on the N7, i'm confident in saying - no running
apps (just dash), b/c i often have just flashed the device, become distracted
with other work, and left it sitting - and notice it light up.
It always autodims in ~1min, i suspect the inactivity timer.

the "disappearing buttons" & apps launching into phone mode is fixed.
However, i still see "disappearing app", which i have now determined is
actually minimized apps show up in the spread - but do not reinstate
themselves onto

only 1/2 the screen on the monitor was used

OK, verified that Pat didn't see this on 161, i flashed on MX4 and i didn't see
either.
all the qtmir/qtubuntu updates were already in 161 so i updated and witnessed
the problem

I'm seeing this with an HP bt mouse and a logitech keyboard.
I'd say 30% of the time.
I was testing N7 convergence pretty heavily yesterday.
I was having to hit "forget device" then reconnect.

i find it difficult to zero in on a corner to get the corner-resize cursor
and frequent with the tap-tap-hold...my cursor will move on the first tap
causing the cursor to change/retarget, losing the corner-resize intent

at the moment, the image creation works, i can list my images - and it says

just following up, very good anecdotal evidence testing from pat who
consistently could repro this bug that the mir0.19.2 branch corrects

So I've been running ubuntu-pd on Nexus4 over a few days and began
noticing this.
1. connect bt mouse and keyboard
2. connect to external monitor
3. use device for extended period of time
sometimes the devices will appear to disconnect, as well as be forgotten.
I can't tell
I'm not sure if this needs a new bug or if i am correct in adding this
information.

connecting/disconnecting hdmi and using OSK as part of the landing of
mir0.19.2, maybe it was a bit of a race with the qtmir/unity8 landings.

still see it, but it's seems slightly less awfulselecting text field while
attached to hdmi, no OSK, but on disconnect OSK is there.
still get the wrong window size when rotating while connected, then disconnect

OK, so i know i saw the OSK this time on the trackpad. But after some rotating
& unplugging seeing the issue again.
Starting think this is just something nasty that's been lurking and haven't seen
Also, got the "browser" stuck to one orientation after unplugging
phablet@ubuntu-phablet:~$ system-i
so just doing some more testing, i was able to use the OSK with silo 37 + image
140 (latest)
interesting thing is, OSK was working even with HDMI connected, the OSK
eventually "disappeared"/stopped popping up after browser+rotation

OSK disappearing, steps i used on image140+silo37 (which just landed)
1) boot phone, still locked, I placed in cradle landscape
2) unlocked phone with OSK
3) connected hdmi
4) selected dash search - osk appeared
5) diconnect, reconnect, rotating - osk appeared (including osk rotating on
trackpad)
