I too, would like a touch-friendly refresh option. I totally failed to
discover the select address bar then refresh option having looked for a
button both left and right of the address bar and stared at the menu
options several seconds in disbelief at not findung it there.

Yes, but you have to do two steps, similar to the others browsers.
But the others browsers give you the possibilitie with one movement to
refresh the page (for example: upper drop to down and F5 key) or with 2
movements (select main menu and refresh option and also focus the
address a
There is already a refresh action, to the left of the address bar when
it’s focused.
