But the assets for the client are still non-free, and Trisquel's goal is 100% free and only recommending free software. Desura does not do that.

There are GPL lisenced games in Desura. I am not sure what is the problem if Desura uses non-free software on server side but the client is Free Software. It is not like people would not be allowed to use whatever software they want.

Euh yes you have some "workarounds" for firefox using some plugins that I don't remember the name, but they only work with videos so it is not a solution.

Not at my knowlegde, but if I'm not wrong, we can't see them for the simple reason that it is Flash 10, and gnash only supports up to Flash v9 (http://www.gnu.org/software/gnash/).

The same day I switched to an only free distro (like Trisquel and Parabola), I stopped using Adobe Flash at all without knowing how difficult a change like that could be but I learn something very fun (for me at least xD): Good Stuff: 1 - I can still see every youtube video without exception

There is no way to increase performance of Gnash at this time, however, I still believe using Adobe Flash is still not acceptable. This is one of those situations where, if you really care moreso about performance over software freedom, you'd be better off using a different operating system
