I hadn't seen Marks (Don't read spanish :P ) his "Image n°1" looks really

The potato one made me laugh xD But in my opinion it is the best one from the

Why not use the ones created by mark here -->

But the assets for the client are still non-free, and Trisquel's goal is 100%
free and only recommending free software.
Desura does not do that.
There are GPL lisenced games in Desura.
I am not sure what is the problem if Desura uses non-free software on server
side but the client is Free Software. It is not like people would not be
allowed to use whatever software they want.
I have to admit, I never really tried this kind of stuff because of the "non
really integrated" solution by extensions and addons for firefox free
alartnatives (iceweasel in my case for parabola), but... how can I say
this... It just works perfectly :D (for videos of course).

The program is even only partially free. The server part is proprietary, and
the assets are as well.
Now, let's see:
Semifree client used to connect to a proprietary server to download
proprietary games. Sadly, that's how some 'open source' software is. Free
software isn't like that, though

I'm with SirGrant on this one. A free program that lets you download
proprietary programs has no relevance to Trisquel.
A couple things. The GPL is encouraged because it gives users freedom. Not
because it allows outside hers to help improve the software/advance the
software.
Secondly, my other point was that this has almost 0 impact on Trisquel, not
to jump at them. EVEN IF the client, server, and conten
Let's start with the positive: they recognized that opening their source can
be a powerful tool to advance their software so they licensed the client
software under GPLv3. Yes, their main objective was improving the software
using people from the outside, but that is exactly why GLP'ing is en
This has basically almost 0% relevance on Trisquel for the following reasons:
* We are a free software project, not open source. See:

Source misses the point of Free Software]

Euh yes you have some "workarounds" for firefox using some plugins that I
don't remember the name, but they only work with videos so it is not a
solution.

Since it has to do with interactive stuff, I'm out of ideas. :p

REd Eclipse is not free? In that case, tel me what propiotary software is in
it. Cause it says right on the website that it is free and open source. I may
be missing somthing.
Are those "testes" available anywhere else ? Because with just one example
the community could look for a solution :D
Not at my knowlegde, but if I'm not wrong, we can't see them for the simple
reason that it is Flash 10, and gnash only supports up to Flash v9
(http://www.gnu.org/software/gnash/).
A few questions. :-)
So, from what I gather, you mainly use the proprietary flash b/c of the
online school, correct?
Are there quizzes that require flash?
I'm taking an online course that uses either flash or html5 for videos and
stuff, and after I fully watch each vid, it marks it as watch
If gnash worked with my school stuff I would be using that, only one more
school year and I will dump adobe flash in the garbage. I can't wait!
Yes Yes and triple Yes :D This application is just amazing, I use it almost
everyday to create everything I need for my music :D This software is just
amazing, there is a lot of YouTube videos showing the samples available with
the software and created with it !
The same day I switched to an only free distro (like Trisquel and Parabola),
I stopped using Adobe Flash at all without knowing how difficult a change
like that could be but I learn something very fun (for me at least xD):
Good Stuff:
1 - I can still see every youtube video without exception
Ok, other ideas?
That's the same dmi tables as the original command. So no it isn't.

That's where dmidecode pull the information from.

Found this:

cat /sys/class/dmi/id/product_name
Does this command work with any laptop? Is it always reliable?

Indeed. I got some questionable results already. I have tried this with a few
laptops and got correct results more than half the time.
I tried this:
sudo lshw | grep Vostro
Didn't work. My laptop is Vostro 3300.
A lot of users are seduced into running proprietary software, mostly at no
fault of their own. Gnash and Flash alternatives are listed as high-priority
projects for this reason.
I definitely have a lot of sympathy for Gumboman. I consider myself lucky
because I uninstalled Flash over a year
There is no way to increase performance of Gnash at this time, however, I
still believe using Adobe Flash is still not acceptable.
This is one of those situations where, if you really care moreso about
performance over software freedom, you'd be better off using a different
operating system
Just found it out and thought I'd say people are working on a new
