It's probably not his home address. I'd assume this is his work address or

That goes without saying, for me at least. Any closed and/or proprietary
anything is a huge gaping security hole (sooner or later) that leaves you at
the mercy of a vendor (whose priority is profit, rather than the security of
your system). I REFUSE to put myself in that situation.

Not to mention the fact that VMware is proprietary software.
Forget Virtualbox & VMWare. They both require out of tree kernel modules that

although qemu-kvm is easy enough to run from the command line as

Well whatever is done to fork Trisquel off of Ubuntu needs to continue. Going

Exactly! Count the licenses of installed software on any GNU system and the

Ok, recorded.
In my humble view RHEL is a "Linux" because it is almost entirely free
software. The fact it has the Linux kernel is almost unimportant. When people
say "Linux" they are not referring to the kernel. They are referring to a set
of components which are free software. Those components are not al
I count GNU as being something you can't remove without making your system

So low level programs ?
without glibc, a UNIX-like can't be named GNU/Linux ?
With glibc, a program can be compilate to dialoging with the kernel.
So without glibc, a GNU/Linux system can not exist without an alternative.

I'm not sure what you are trying to achieve. You can use the -d option with
apt-get to download the packages without installing.
You can open DEB packages with an archive manager, such as File Roller
(installed by default). By examining the files in a DEB you can understand
what the package does. linux-libre32_3.6.2_i386.deb is a virtual package that
depends on linux-image-3.6.2-gnu-686, which can be found it
