I'd try asking the Pitivi folks at #pitivi on irc.freenode.net.
You can use e.g. Pidgin or XChat as an irc client.

Please keep context in mind here. The comment was intended toward the

I'm not sure where to go from here. Any thoughts are always appreciated.

I was just curious about what happened to the King Penguin laptop from Thing

Maybe AOL could actually profit from it if it was free software or open

Isn't GPS receive-only? Isn't it safe unless software sends your
location via other interfaces? This is a problem for phone modems which
control GPS receivers, while they don't need it to know your location.
Personally, I'm more afraid of Google's wifi geolocalization service.

Or, after reading a bit about Winamp and its evolution... I guess it can,

Nevertheless, being a Windows program, as I said: "Who cares?"

Responding to several posts above...
Winamp doesn't need to be ported to GNU/Linux... It's basic functionalities
are already made by other programs, like Audacious - which is a
fork/evolution of XMMS, that was intended to do the same things as Winamp.

Yes. But I doubt AOL is going to support Winamp as a proprietary program
