I am thinking about buying a BeagleBoard because it seems to be FSF compliant
other than the GPU which requires nonfree blobs to work. That's not really a
problem for me because I think the CPU would be enough for what I want to use

My bad. I thought Wifi cards that do not require firmware were something of
the past and I knew Realtek's firmware are nonfree (even if their drivers are
distributed under the GNU GPL: sad).
I think that the default configuration of most email servers is something
like "try for five days before giving up".
