When I posted that my intendsion was for people to post their model numbers,
and for me to decide if one of them is suitable. For some reason, that laptop
was listed as B on H-node (but only a few trivial things dont work.

Some of the things that I recall are him saying that he's now able to work
on Trisquel full time and that historically work on the next version
typically did not start until the corresponding Ubuntu version was released
but, with 7, work is starting early.

I then re-installed Trisquel with an updated iso image (6.0.1).
This got me up and running online. However, after several months, I restarted
Trisquel and it was no longer able to connect to a wireless network.
Oh man, embarrassing, I just realized that I fell victim to OSX auto
correct...followed by a copy and past. Could a moderator please correct the
name of the adapter so that it reflects the swimming bird and not the prickly
plant?
I cannot guarantee to make the adapter working again, since the problem can
be virtually anywhere, but I can try at least. Please put here the output of
the following commands:
md5sum /lib/firmware/htc_*.fw
uname -r
lsusb -d 0cf3:9271

The output should include: htc_7010.fw htc_9271.fw
Just in case somehow the wireless adapter firmware is removed for some
reason.
Simpler:

Trisquel does not use a specific edition of Ubuntu as a base. Only its
collection of free packages (or free after correction by the project).

finding more for desktop. I am thinking about to buy a desktop from
ThinkPenguin. They ship to Spain, France and another countries but Portugal.I
wonder if anybody bougth a desktop to Portugal (if any)? and

want 100% freedom. And ThinkPenguin doesn't sell such hardware, only the
