Hi
As I have only one (big: 1 Terra byte) harddisk on my PC I am looking for a
way to start (directly from ISO file) or install trisquel on my PC (Pentium
5, 2 Gbytes RAM, Intel chips set)
- without using USB stick / memory card
- without using CDROM (is the same: my PC is a book PC where
Hi
I did look at the official documentation at

the summary

what is this forum machine? is this machine different from wiki? does it be
possible to bring message in form (in the forum / in the wiki: are the
methods different? what are the right methods?)
Popcorn Time depends on the fonts-liberation package.

Physical HTML tags seem to be of no use here. HTML Tags like strong, em (in
place of b and i, respectively) seem to work, though (What were they called
again? Logical tags?).
For example:
Genesis topped a country's chart with their second album.
yes you can change the language preferences.
That doesn't happen unless you are using Abrowser in private mode with tor.
Perhaps physical tags are just going obsolete. They stopped working on
f1fanatic.co.uk some time ago as well.
According to the Debian documentation[1] (Trisquel is indirectly derived from
it), using debootstrap may give different results than using the installer in
the resulting configuration. Using debootstrap also requires manual
configuration (Last time I used debootstrap, though, not for

IceCat uses system Proxy settings to access internet.
I set Abrowser to the same value.
Thanks a lot, akfoss and Sachin.
I don't know... it seems tempting, but i stayed away from bittorrent until
now. Don't want to have a criminal record honestly...
and i don't know very much about vpn, so i'm sceptical.
There's no way to use this application safely with tor i guess?
Popcorn Time uses a built-in VPN- combined with using purely Free Software,
it'll be rather difficult to track who used it.
Even if they were able to, so many people use these services it would hardly
be worth the money for companies to sue.
Can anyone explain to me how vpn is any different from a normal https proxy
(when it comes to privacy)?
I know the basic principle you connect to a private network in an
encrypted way; then to the destination server, i guess.
But the vpn provider can log my ip, right?
If you want to boot Trisquel from *DD you need to add to the
/etc/grub.d/40_custom :
menuentry 'Trisquel 7 amd64'{
set isofile=/trisquel_7.0_amd64.iso
loopback loop (hd0,2)$isofile
linux (loop)/casper/vmlinuz boot=casper iso-scan/filename=$isofile noprompt
noeject

Hello.
I have an USB memory stick (Also called flash drive) that I want to use to
store files and also to have a bootable Trisquel in case I need to recover my
main system, but I want the installation to be static, including the system

Why?
popcorn is free software and it is fracking awesome!!
the only downside is that you are limited to the series and movies which are
listed in popcorn. It would be nice if you could just add a magnet link and
stream whatever you want..I for myself really enjoy older movies (seventies
mainly)
Do the mics work if you live boot with a previous version of the liveCD ?

plug the usb wifi dongles into your computer, they should all

notice any

So it is not a kernel limitation. It is a design flaw of Network

We should all place as much importance on the licenses of the music as we do

This is true. But there are other issues with copyright with regards to
music that are addressed by RMS in this video:
Yea, I've heard his lecture on Copyright VS Community; I agreed with it, but
RMS doesn't say nor think that all music must be free.

The point is not that all music should be free, but that the copyright
system as it exists today unnecessarily takes away freedom that makes
free music
