Unar is great for extracting RAR files, but I don't think including it by default would be particularly helpful, because graphical archive managers don't seem to be able to use it. Besides, RAR files are rare these days.

You're not describing your problem very well, but I'll answer based on a hunch: Trisquel 6 or 7? I had no problem installing Wine on Trisquel 7. Trisquel 6, on the other hand, has a problem with the ia32-libs-multiarch package, which is a dependency of Wine in that version of Trisquel; see

I don't care as much about non-free games as they are meant to be consumed like movies and TV as they are artistic expression. While it is true that the game engine may be non-free, the non code aspects should be protected.
