I'm looking for a good bookmark manager.
I've read that Xmarks.com was good, however, I suspect this company
("LastPass") to track all the bookmarks everyone use.
Any other secure alternative?

gnome-app-install (that's technically the name of "Add/Remove Applications")
is a bit unreliable in some cases. In particular, I find that it fails any
time some other package needs to be removed first.
When it fails, I would suggest opening Synaptic (you can find it under System
Settings)
