I got a similar message.
'dd' does a bit for bit copy. It does not matter what the data are.
"libdvdcss" unscrambles the content of the DVD, it breaks the DRM, when a
video player tries to read it. It will be needed to play the ISO (e.g., in
Totem). Not to create it.
What is the sense of all this fuzz? It takes me a couple of minutes to copy
my most important folders to another disk and there i can find any file in a
very short time!
If we are talking about a few hundreds of MB, periodically copying them with
a crontab can be good enough. Problems
I should have made it clear that I was talking about GNOME's file manager, by
default in Trisquel. Not in Trisquel Mini.
Another alternative would be to use a standalone-version of Thunderbird from
the Mozilla website. A simple "ln -s ~/.icedove ~/.thunderbird" is enough to
have your workspace. Don't feel like messing with the package-manager. Not
quite sure how free Thunderbird is right now though.
Thanks. Will this work for encrypted dvds given that I have libdvdcss
installed?
When you say, "change the name" are you referring to the mount point? When
you typed df and saw the mounted device is /dev/sdf1 it should also say where
it is mounted to, like:
Filesystem Mounted On
/dev/sdf1 /media/ra
If that is the situation, are you trying to change
It is mounted in /dev/sdf1.
When i try to change the name i am in /media/ra, because i try to do it in
the file manager. Is it impossible there?
"By the way, my external hard disk has space characters in its name and i
can't change the name"
Do you mean that if you wanted the name to be "hard-disk-name" it is instead
"hard disk name" ?
Where is the disk mounted? Type this in a terminal to find out:
df
Where are you, in what
I guess you're right. I might have tried on a cheaper device, just out of
curiosity.
The tablet is too big for me. Unfortunately, anything else would mean

And Android from source looks like a major PITA to setup.
Maybe I'll just use the phone as an agenda as well, and
Will they be on Tor as well? You might be better with TorChat.
Wow, this looks nice. I would totally back this, if I had the money. ;-)
I also have many issues with Icedove. Some of them could be resolved by
following the hints mentioned here

Do you know any programming languages?

Thank you. That makes sense.
I think I know what happened. Recently I've been trying alternate ways of
starting a graphical session. From a VT I Usually type:
sudo lightdm
Then when I open gnome-terminal
What do you intend to use this account for?
If I want to use ONLY Tor network to use E-mail I need Tor address? I know
rules to be anonymous.
1 yes, everything under ~ should belong to you
2 you ran it as root with sudo icecat
(It's probably a bad idea to run it as root anyways but) if you wish to run
graphical apps as root, use gksudo instead of sudo.

You are right, sorry about that.

Here is my current setup and backdrop:
It probably does not matter about whether the domain is a .onion one, if I am
honest.
I should point out that communicating with any of your associates from the
Tor account would probably reveal your identity. Therefore, I don't think
that if you are just going to use it for regular emails
Wow, looks great in CDE!
TLS + GPG + User account on *.onion domain + TorBirdy = best anonymity?
Icedove with TorBirdy. It sends emails through Tor the right way.
You should ideally use it only with an email account made on Tor and never
accessed from normal internet, but TorBirdy can offer you location privacy.
You should try and encrypt the emails too, or an operator of qn exit node can

Clearly, the page does not existe.

If I want to use E-mail protocol, how to use it anonymous? What mail client I
