Midori? And what happens to this bug?
https://trisquel.info/es/issues/20634
How would I go about installing the parts that are ready?
the TP150N one... yes. absolutely fine. it's a modern chipset, *actual*
finalised 802.11n implementation, not a draft 802.11n implementation.
that explains why you didn't get two hours. :)
anyways though, thanks for giving me that information.
odd though I would have thought they would work well.
oh well..
Thanks for the info.
Ask him about the PCIe-based one.
If you are willing.
hiya calmstorm,
ok just talking to chris - the TP150N they're selling is identical to the
TP150N that chris sells - i recognise it as the AR9271 chipset. this was the
chipset that chris helped qualcomm over a TWO year period to walk them
through the process of releasing the firmware
Oh thank god, I have wanted icecat to get an update for a while now... :)
good graphics card. Well, vlc had this behavior for me to when I was using
trisquel on an intel atom with intel gpu. I really recommend you again
smplayer, it's much faster than vlc and it works great. I didn't answer your
first qstn because no idea..
As promised, a lot of progress happened this week! Having the Flidas build
jails up and running allowed to spin up enough packages to make most of the
desktop components available to install, and a MATE based desktop is in
testing to potentially become the next default interface. Along with
Audio would probably be only a couple MB.
6 cell
9 cell or 6 cell?
just curious...
Update done, battery gain one more hour

what gpu?
lspci -nnk | grep VGA
I've had much better experience with smplayer for youtube vids.
sudo apt-get install smplayer
... I Read it
Thanks

Utilities archives is now source only. You will need to compile the
packages in there (build scripts included, and a script for installing
build dependencies in Trisquel 7). (binary utility archives are
planned again in the next
They are libre actually. the website I speak of is,
https://tehnoetic.com/tehnoetic-wireless-adapter-gnu-linux-libre-tet-n150
Tehnoetic is a trustworthy website endorsed by the free software foundation.
So yeah... and I wasn't trying to be rude, just a suggestion.

Yea I noticed the time difference between our posts, meh...
Regardless I don't know when they actually uploaded it.
so idk
Here is what I did with some help from the libreboot chatroom:
IF you download the libreboot_r20160818_util tar,
extract it, and go inside the folder, then go to flashrom directory with the
terminal emulator...
then type make or sudo make or w/e and then everything should go extremely
Because you are still installing Debian. And you will naturally be directed
to the Debian documentation in each of the packages, etc etc.
You need to compile the libreboot_util binaries from source for this release,
or just use the old binaries from last release. This worked for me.
They added it after I wrote such commenting.
If wifi ethernet in the installer has been corrected and there is no
information about non free software on librian.com then explain how it can be
not aligning with fsf?
Can you give details of your GuixSD machine? Are you using it as the sole OS?
Thanks.
Exactly, like `youtube-dl` which is pulled from its PPA into Trisquel
repository, or wxmaxima which is pulled from Ubuntu Utopic (14.10) which has
reached its end of life more than two years ago. Or, like TOR which is pulled
from its upstream deb repository instead of that of Ubuntu.
Hello,
I'm using Trisquel as my main OS since about a month, and I love it :-)
Within that time I'm experiencing two small problems with my computer:
1. HDD is working heavily for a while, when: running some scripts in Abrowser
on todoist.com webpage (this is a "to do" list service), also when
I can't update, flashrom binary not present... ??
sudo ./flash update
~/libreboot_r20160818_grub_x200_8mb/x200_8mb_esqwerty_vesafb.rom

hiya calmstorm, i'm not chris but he's been filling me in on the details:
basically those are 802.11ac wifi adapters that you're seeing... and there
*is* no libre firmware for 802.11ac wifi adapters... period. chris is
investigating at least two different channels to bring libre firmware to
