APT verifies signatures when it downloads packages. It's better to use the
.deb files from /var/cache/apt/archives, or (even better) use apt-offline.
Just disable JavaScript. DDG doesn't require any of the JavaScript it serves;
it's all unnecessary decorative functionality. This is also generally the
case for most other websites.
The deb files that the package manager (whatever the used interfaces) fetches
are in /var/cache/apt/archives. They remain there unless you remove them
(you can), e.g., executing 'sudo apt-get clean'.
I can also confirm it is not present here in a Debian Unstable system.
Also, LibreJS complains about some issues in the home page of DuckDuckGo. I
think I'll email them as suggested by LibreJS :)
DuckDuckGo is a default search engine in IceCat. At the moment when user
search something via DuckDuckGo it loads Javascript from yahoo.net The URL
starts with https://duckduckgo-owned-server.yahoo.net/d.js?q=abcxyz.
Besides the filter "duckduckgo.com/t/iaui?$image" found in the

I experienced the same problem using Firefox and it appears to be an issue
with ebay according to this blog post:

I cleared cookies yesterday and the problem went away for me.
Year ago I must to doing reclock with very compliated patches, before
Linux4.4. No more patches are needed for 4.4, but still needed to boot with

I heard back from lkcl in #arm-netbook and he directed me to this post on the

Hello people!
The problem has been solved.
The way is:
1) Switch to UMA graphics instead of dual one.
2) Limit the CPU speed to minumum.
Now everything is working quite stable, but PC is lacking 3d acceleration.
The latter is not important for me who considers his PC as a typewriter
Abrowser is not very popular, so to assume that it is being targeted by
anyone is a bit extraordinary. Also, eBay sellers can't change eBay's layout.
If I had to guess, it would be that you had JavaScript disabled. I don't
know, though.
Previously, I wrote:

from unclicking that box.
Today that box has mysteriously reappeared, and the junk hits are absent.

I believe Fedora disables the OpenH264 download. I would expect them to
disable the download of the DRM blob too, when it is enabled in next version
of Firefox.
With a "trick":
Firefox downloads and enables the Google Widevine and Adobe Primetime CDMs by
default to give users a smooth experience on sites that require DRM.
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/enable-drm
Google Widevine and Adobe Primetime CDMs are DRMs (hence proprietary blobs:

Well, how then can it be free as in freedom in any way shape or form? I
really don't understand why it says that on their about area.
Regardless though I wish I knew when trisquel 8 was coming out.
deblobbed is not the right word
they recommend nonfree addons
and i think firefox might include drm. but it is still open source.
