Could someone please write about what would he advise a Trisquel user who
wants to use Sugar TOAST on a "Try Trisquel without installing" based Flidas?
Where could this user learn about the best way of teaming up these 2 systems?

Generally, instructions for Ubuntu 16.04 will work with Trisquel 8 too.
Fix the issues in your other thread before adding any more PPAs, though.

The errors appear to be related to the ffmpeg-next ppa you have installed. Try
removing or deselecting it in Control Center -> Software & Updates, and then
run 'sudo apt update' again.

I would love some help to install OBS Studio on Trisquel 8. I followed the
instructions in the attached photo and always end up with the following
errors as seen below in Terminal.

I have seen this happen before myself, without messing with the bios and only
messing with the software side. Debian testing/devuan testing back when
version stretch was in testing status.
I think I have also seen this happen in trisquel 7.
It is/was annoying.

weird permissions (not allowing to traverse the directory). You can run
