Anyway: may I ask why you link to a github page and not simply just posting
your image?
I tend the reinstall the OS from time to time. And every time I have done
that there has been many packages to update after the installation is
complete even though I checked the "download updates while installing".
Did it as chaosmonk suggested.
Tried to run this script from lubuntu 16.04 LTS. The script is probably too
old. It removed a lot of packages, but broke the system. After a reboot there
was still lubuntu artwork and LXDE environment, any trace of trisquel.
Lubuntu booted after this script, h
I don't really know if this violates some rules, but i just want you to share

There is not. Nevertheless, as far as I remember, the installer can download
and install updated packages if the live system is connected to the Internet.
Anyway, it does not hurt to attempt an update right after installing one of
the ISOs on https://trisquel.info/download
