I searched for "xscreensaver" and got packages named xscreensaver-data and
xscreensaver-gl (and their -extra versions, respectively). Which should I
use, GL or non-GL one? I currently use Trisquel 8 and Debian testing/sid,
both with MATE desktop environment.
There is also a package named

I'm going to try to backport it so that it can just be installed from
Trisquel 8's backports repository.

i think people will jump on the alpha release this Thursday if this security
issue "https://trisquel.info/en/issues/26072; is not solved xD
well it looks like our discussion was deleted for some reason i will just add
that we was at how will i upgrade keepassx the last release in trisquel 8.
The radeon driver is free software. It's in the Trisquel repository. You
should be able to use the graphics card you have if you install the correct
free driver.
Thank you man, but I want to install an open source trisquel card
I do not want to use AMD
I said earlier that I was using Linux Mint with embedded open source graphics
I want to do that with trisquel (Use the built-in open source graphics card)
I'm pretty sure that Trisquel 8 has the free driver package here:
https://mirror.fsf.org/trisquel/pool/main/x/xserver-xorg-video-ati/?C=M;O=D
Should be a simple matter of:
$ sudo apt install xserver-xorg-video-radeon
I don't have an AMD system with Trisquel to try it, but radeon is the free
AMD's integrated graphics is as bad as its discrete graphics. So either
purchase one Nvidia discrete graphics card or replace your motherboard and
CPU with Intel ones.
How to disable it from the BIOS
use AMD
Update: I've reproduced the bug as shown in the picture (taken using my
LineageOS phone)
It seems that you are using a desktop computer, as I don't see "Mobility" in
your graphics card's description. If your desktop computer is Intel based and
has integrated graphics (and your motherboard has video output interfaces),
then simply remove the ATI/AMD discrete graphics card and
I know there are free computers unfortunately I can't buy online despite the
cheap hardware prices (for some reason)
I just want to use Triskoll with an open source card
I used Linux Mint in the past and got it with an open source card
automatically
Is there any solution ? For full-screen
