Yeah I meant e-reader :)
I currently own a tablet, but I want to buy an e-reader because of the
display screen.
I also tried that with i686 and I got the same result.

base..
Or imo, we can use Ubuntu MATE as the base.
I want to buy a pdf reader but I wonder if there is anything I should
consider. Do you have any experience with them or what is your
recommendations?
I recommend you report this bug at https://trisquel.info/en/project/issues
indicating the packages cannot be downloaded using a web browser. But the
package can be downloaded using apt-get or aptitude (look at the attached

What is your reference?
I have read on the omgubuntu that Ubuntu Software Center will be removed and
the GNOME Software will be used instead. So I wonder if 'Software' will be
used as the default graphical package manager or not.
It is broken for all.
Savane is not available in the repositories. You have to install it manually.

Hi dear developers,
Is there any plan to migrate previous issues to Gitlab section of this
website? Or at least, will we be able to report new issues there?

@tct, you are right. But creating a mirror on Gitorious would be OK.
I explained the bug here, https://trisquel.info/en/issues/12671
You can manually add Unity to the greeter by running the attached file using

Hi,
I left Trisquel. I had been constantly using Trisquel since version 5.0 as my
primary operating system but now I feel that it is not my type. My conclusion
was that users have no power and everything is done in background. Linux and
GNU have thought me that we should *develop together*
So sad to hear your story. We're here to help you out.
Could you tell us your graphics card model?

Your problem might be caused by Linux-libre. Do you have the same issue with
Trisquel 6?
Have you subscribed to the list before posting the patch?
No I haven't.
How does the Trisquel project guarantee the long-term sustainability of the
project? I've check the developers' mailing list from Oct. 2013 to Nov. 2014
and found out that only 7 users have contributed patches (Ruben has write
access to the repo. (Only the creators of subjects on the mailing

There's nothing to worry about. Trisquel is fine. It would benefit from
donations and contributions, though, so if you're inclined to do either, go
ahead.
I live in Iran, and because of the U.S. Sanctions (ITAR, etc.), transfer of

I wanna thank those who do their contributions in background and we do not

Good to know that it has been added, I've checked it; it's not on the

Trisquel 7, https://trisquel.info/en/issues/12455
How are Thunderbird users in Trisquel 6 going to be notified about the
introduction of Icedove in Trisquel 7, in case they are not visiting this
forum and upgrading via Update Manager, not freshly installing Trisquel 7?
Should they have the false feeling that their systems are up-to-date?
EDIT of previous post:
In section 2, I forgot to write the first line of code.
$ rm .icedove
$ mv .thunderbird .icedove

Thunderbird is not available either in Trisquel 6 or 7, anymore. But Icedove
has only been added to the repository of Trisquel 7.
Today, I just ran 'sudo aptitude update' and after that I noticed that
Thunderbird has become an obsolete package.
IceDove is available in the repository, and it seems that Thunderbird has
been replaced by IceDove.
How you tried Kazam? It is great.
The screenshot of Kazam on Trisquel 7 is attached.
I reported an issue about this matter.
