You sent your message before I started mine, but you touched on some of my

The authors of the MP3 format do not make free software for dealing with
their formats. However, Trisquel uses software compatible with those formats,
but is released under a free license.

I don't want to manually change all the necessary dependences, and I'd prefer

I tried to install that PPA a few weeks ago, and I ended up having to

want the latest and greatest, and want GNOME Shell to run smoother, and have
the improved extension management.

What product is this exactly? Also, I'd really like to get my hands on a
product from ThinkPenguin that is similar, and has extra focus on freedom.
And I like how money would go to Trisquel :)

This may be an old thread, but I'm just going to throw in that I have a

Instead of starting a new thread, I'll ask a question I have in this one.

Is there any way to install 3.4 in Trisquel?
Thanks, this is working for me, and I installed the packages in our repos. Is
there any reason we don't have the most recent stable builds? I also could
find any stable 3.4 deb or ppa.
I already use NoScript, so would Google's plugin be redundant, or cause

Sorry, I did't read your full post. What I meant was will I get graphics

Are there times where I'm using acceleration and not even realizing it?
Will my Penguin Libre get it?
I've read all of replies against my idea, and I think you're both being a bit

I didn't read every reply, but I think Ixquick should at least be one of the

believe it will become more free, and improve in quality.
You can see how well DDG is doing here:

I emailed Defective By Design about this. I hope they start a campaign if

Can you add a panel background for the stable? I think it looks messy right

Sadly I won't be able to go, but have a great time, everyone who is going.

The FSF doesn't use the sharing iframes, and they only recommend using the
sharing tools to spread freedom.
The fact is when you use their iframes we all are being tracked. Even with
Disconnect, Share Me Not, etc. installed, we may still be being tacked.
Actually, I won't be able to make a show for a few weeks. I'm about to order

I'm sure most of us have similar Flash workarounds!
Thanks for the advice, and the focus probably wouldn't be on using GNU/Linux,
but it wouldn't hurt to make guides that may already have been covered,
