I second this.
Haven't looked further into this, various reasons. :/
ptifred: What's the current status?
Before this thread get's too many replies..
I appreciate that you're willing to put effort into a project, but do you
think this would be the best approach?
As mentioned above, you could possibly assist with Triskel.
I suggest posting here or asking in IRC how to get started.
When you have
Welcome to the Trisquel forums! :D
What kind of video card do you have?
According to this post[1], the Nouveau driver should work for that card.
But on the 3.8 kernel, it seems that Trisquel 6.0 includes the 3.2 kernel[2].
Thanks for the links, lembas. I was about to ask someone to help with that.
:p

Hmm..
Could you run the command below in the terminal and post the output?
uname -a
Can you get into a tty? (CTRL+ALT+F1-6, I think 6 works too..)
This post seems to have a possible work around.[1]
Could you try the steps listed, then attempt to run Celestia again?

Still looking through some comments on that page.
It may take quite a few moments. :o
(Working on stuff, and tons of comments)
In the mean time, if anyone has any ideas, please post.
Thanks for your patience with this, ptifred.
[sarcasm] They're clearly implying that they'll be more than happy to port
*and* release the free software games on their new platform. [/sarcasm]
Or, someone doesn't like royalties. ;p
(At the end of the vid, in super tiny letters, are the game names)
Found this after a quick duckduckgo search,

It is what it is, I'm not concerned.
Thank you for the reminder.
It's not something I usually think about, even though I've had family members
lose their data due to hdd crashes.
Posts like this are unnecessary and counter productive.
I request this thread be removed or locked.
A few questions. :-)
So, from what I gather, you mainly use the proprietary flash b/c of the
online school, correct?
Are there quizzes that require flash?
I'm taking an online course that uses either flash or html5 for videos and
stuff, and after I fully watch each vid, it marks it as

Since it has to do with interactive stuff, I'm out of ideas. :p
(Didn't have many to begin with, but, I tried)
If you do decide to send them an email regarding this issue, perhaps a member
here could assist you in wording it.
I've been to the IRC
I've been e-mailing their support, and it seems good news may come about.
I had previously asked them what driver would be used for the video, hoping
to know the name so I could search for it and in turn finding if it's Free or
not. Keyword 'hoping'.
To which they replied on the 27th of

This is the conversation I had on their IRC[3] a moment earlier.

Hi, would it be safe to assume that Replicant 2.3 is based on Android 2.3?

Was a bit excited this morning when I received a reply from someone in sales
at Lemote.

Yeeloong 8133 notebook would release next month, and we would update any
news on it for you.
Also, it seems the page for the laptop was updated
It indeed uses the Realtek RTL8188CUS chipset.
Contacted the company behind them previously about it.
Sent some emails to a few companies regarding the chipsets used in some mini
wifi adapters, when I get a reply I'll post back here.

I understand where you're coming from, I used to be there.
However, something that changed my way of thinking about software was when I
learned what Free Software(Libre Sotware) was, and learned that Open Source
software wasn't the same thing.
These helped.
Look at it this way, proprietary software restricts in many ways, But hey it
gives lots of features, right!, like be-dazzled steel handcuffs with a built
in wifi detector.
I, don't want to assist you placing those shiny cuffs on.
Now to my response to some of your post. :-)

Hmm,
The Zazzle one seems ok, not sure if they're pretty much the same or not, I
would remove the back and shrink the logo on the front by a wee bit. Perhaps
someone with more Trisquel fashion forte could interject.
Not sure how to go about it, and I don't want to leave a bad impression on
people. In the future I hope to sell some computers with Trisquel or another
fully free distro. So, what are some things I can speak on while presenting
it?
I can explain libre/free software to an extent, the

Is there another way to report? :o
IMHO, regardless of what the issue someone has with GNU/Linux is and how they
choose to vent, as a community we might not want to be so quick to bash.
(Community in this sense being the GNU/Linux users as a whole)
(But, what the media said did make me slightly upset/angry)
And. going
