A Wifi dongle from ThinkPenguin is cheaper than a whole laptop and can save you a lot of grief. If that's not within your budget, check h-node and ebay for alternative dongles. X60 and X200 are hitting the government surplus sales on ebay and both can be Librebooted if you're handy.

What I do is put a link to the email self-defense tutorial guide, as well as my public key and fingerprint. If it invites even a few people to find out more then it is a small victory.

Interesting. I suppose I or my contact would have to get the email on the computer to decrypt it? I mean let's suppose I check the email while connecting to gmail, and it's encrypted. The only way to decrypt it is to get a copy offline ? I'm sure the Firewall has it's use in specific cases.

There's evidence using an adblocker can help track you because you block connections to these domains. I think NoScript doesn't block the connections, just the script from running.
