I still manage several workstations in my lab. I plan to replace the originally installed Mint with Trisquel 8. The standard Trisquel installer with MATE should be good. Though I don't actually need a DE, some students may have difficulties with the terminal.

Thanks again both. I have a few more questions on the Server front: I currently have a ZFS pool running in another server-type machine that I would ideally move over as-is. Is it possible to run ZFS (OpenZFS) under Trisquel? Secondly, what is the preferred/recommended means to run

Evening all, As the result of a cheeky offer I now have an Asus Motherboard + 2x CPU's on the way to me in the post. Once this arrives, the board will get Librebooted and fitted into it's new home as my main 'home lab' server. In terms of using Trisquel as a 'Server' OS, can you recommend
