I don't think a new phone software project would be of any benefit. Replicant is already an excellent job at freeing Android,and there are already a lot of free apps on F-Droid. What would be more important is a "Respects Your Freedom" smartphone, that runs Replicant with no blobs. Ideally su

How do you do the majority of your communication? email? Do you have a land-line phone? Do you borrow other people's (cell)phones? I know rms does all three, with a heavy emphasis on email.
