TUSCANY-1465 is the JIRA which added index to the
With that the physical order can be anything for
as long as index is used properly. This JIRA helps in specifying
result descriptor programmatically (i.e. not thru config file).
See DynamicResultDescriptorTests.java and

Also, please see if the table can have a logical Primary Key. DAS can
identify unique DB records and thus unique Data Objects

Hi,
When you extract the src and do mvn build, all these files will get

Hi,
A few days ago there was a user question about passing name in Parameter:-

When checking how Parameters are used in Config, came across the following
points.
There is a difference in Config (SDO) generated Parameter and

Hi,
Recently there came up a requirement from user (ref. JIRA-1355), when the
user
was attempting DAS.createCommand(sql) in Oracle. As of today, in RDB DAS,
user
can specify ResultDescriptor using external Config File containing Commands.
But
there is no provision for user to pass ResultDescriptor
sue commits/rollbacks. Also, internally, RDB DAS will be responsible
to rollback in
case of exceptions and in case of Timeouts.
Please share your thoughts.

Amita

Hi,
Pease visit JIRA-1419 to find the summary of changes done to different
readmes
based on all the comments obtained so far. It will be very helpful if these
can be reviewed from JIRA attachments and further comments given there, so
that the finalilized readmes can
be used in RC.

Hi,

Hi,
We are at present hardcoding some vendors (e.g. Oracle) in ConnectionImpl to
decide whether to
use autogenerated key feature in preparedStatement. This logic is subject to
change
as and when new features are supported by different databases and different
vendors.
Instead, if we have a flexibi
Hi,
I have only a limited understanding about SDO and EMF, but what it looks
like is -
List custList = root.getList("CUSTOMER");

xmlns:das="http:///org.apache.tuscany.das.rdb/das";

connection.prepareStatement(queryString, Statement.*RETURN_GENERATED_KEYS*);

The IRC chat to review the SDO release content didn't work out (I'd be
interested in any feedback why that was), so here's a

logging issue as in TUSCANY-1349. I also noticed an issue with logging
in dbConfig, where we were not checking if logging was enabled and
always calling log, and I have also fixed that.
Please let me know if things are looking better now.
