I have a number of Access databases to convert.
The obvious choice would be the OpenOffice DB.
I believe it can read Access format - although I've never tried...

It's because you change the user input to lower case, so you have to
compare it against a lower case answer. Maybe this helps:

It can convert from .txt into Excel and vice versa
