some shows started production before the strike, some didn't -- but fall

No announced premiere date yet, but with Universal City going back into
production mode this week (if not theme park mode), NBC has decided to go
ahead with a fall schedule that is very familiar, even with the one new
show. It's according to tvguide.com, new show in all caps, the asterisk

The difference for me is that, while Kenan (like everyone who has ever been
on that show) occasionally overplays, he's always firmly committing to the
bit and the premise. McKinnon (and the odious Wiig) never do anything but
overplay and do variations on one character, just shifting the voice a
As a rule, SNL's writing doesn't generally allow the cast to demonstrate just
how funny/talented they can be, and the writing this season seems to have

As terrible as SNL invariably is, Kenan is the one reliable reason to keep
tuning in. He’s genuinely funny (and even Aida Bryant is growing on me).

It's that time again and even though the actual presentation won't be until
tomorrow morning at Radio City, here's the NBC fall schedule, which for the
first time in years has the traditional first fall season announcement
being as the top-rated network in the demo. The Wrap provides the schedu
