Chris,
Thanks for your answer.
That's a shame... In my case it is not marketing... I just don't like
when it says that I posted from Web when it comes from a Jabber
transport, a Linux CLI, a VoIP Phone... It's more fun to be able to
customize the from field. Well, if I think it's worth it I might

Hi,
I would like to register a cmd line app that I made for some FFF
(Friends fools and family) that does not use OAuth because I would just
mean unnecessary garbage.
How do I register it as a Source app?
Cheers
Can't you get more than 1500 by using Max_id and ID together and

Hello,
I have a social network and I want my members share their twitter
updates on profile pages as same as in facebook, friendfeed, etc.
My updates are going to be shown in 5 seconds in friendfeed. Is there
any trigger for the applications? Or friendfeed pings the server for
each user?

Hi,
For some reason I am getting the above error message returned for a
specific ID only:
curl -u username:password http://twitter.com/friends/ids.xml?user_id=2064571515
/friends/ids.xml?user_id=2064571515
This method requires authentication.
Any other Twitter IDs it works fine and I get
I have a user who posts a lot of messages and is reporting that his
messages are not posting from our app. After some investigation when
the user posts on twitter.com he receives a message something to the
effect "too much twittering for the hour"...
The API does not report any error message
