[TYPO3] RealURL and shortcut pages

Greetings, I am currently trying to identify a way to have canonical names for a page when it also has a shortcut page linking to it. I observe different URLs in the address bar when the shortcut is clicked versus typed in the address bar. For example, in my page navigation, if I have + root -

Georg, Thanks for the reply. I haven't paid close attention to the difference in levels between the shortcut and the target page. I think I have seen some cases where there are 2-3+ levels of difference. Also, I don't believe people are setting the shortcut type, but choosing the page directly.

Greetings, I suspect the problem and solution are the same as you have read about. Check your Web server/PHP error logs (depending on where your PHP errors are logged to) if you wish to confirm. Remember that what is displayed in one frame is one page--and that page is completely blank. Good luc
