I thought about it... I think I would still prefer to have a new news item type
with CEs. What exists, must stay.

I got all exited by Andreas talking about a complete rewrite of tt_news.
I thought this project would make news items just as flexible and
complex as normal pages.

Hi Georg
could you please setup a tt_news renewal project page so we could collect
there the sponsors and also all account informations and other stuff about
this project. Otherwise I guess threads get mixed up here to soon and
perhaps get lost.
Thanks

Hi all tt_news users
We need more to get tt_news cleaned and modernised and innovated by Georg
Ringer.
2 1/2 hours and already 350 Euro. Hope we can get much more until tomorrow
morning so that Georg can start right the way :-)
Great Idea Morten to mention FCEs and metadata.
Thanks Andi

Would this solution mean that one could put any known content element in
a news item? Also FCEs, metadata etc. ?
If so it is a major innovation and I think anyone should support the
project with what they can spare. I would not mind to put €200 in the
hat maybe more if necessary.

How much would you need to get tt_news going "crazy good" (like your other
extensions) using IRRE?

tt_news in a TYPO3 Page! Get some support toge
Hi Georg,
It often seems to be the case that several people come up with the same
ideas at the same time. For one of our future projects (currently planning
status) I was thinking of about just that.
The problem with news is, as Andreas sais, that it is totally blown up. So,
if you go for IRRE, s
Hi Georg
This would be a great idea. Toi-news have something to present a bit more
(toi products) and also features the possibilty to use many categories and
TYPes of categories (i.e. info-typ3) tt_news is great but it is really
lacking the feature like already Morton mentioned. Another problem is
