Right. I know it sounds funny and maybe its even stupid.
However I see no reason for keeping up with a slow CMS. Since typo3 4.5 the backend felt slow. Got used to it, np.
Now a major version is out and its even slower than 4.5. Sux bigtime. Id just like people to notice and maybe do something ab
I recommend you to disable the offending plugin (cal) manually and then try it
again.
There are hundreds of plugins that are incompatible with V6, so if you update
an existing TYPO3 site to V6 disable all plugins that are not compatible.
Once the site is working again you can start enabling the
Hi Benni,
Exactly. uploads/ is kept until all extensions use FAL:) All TCA
type=file with an uploadfolder are still using the old format - for
backwards-compatibility reasons:).
That's what I thought.

Hi,
the big problem I see: The extension which uses deprecated stuff will
probably won't be maintained, so the author won't activate the feature
anyway.
If the extension is currently still maintained, an issue at forge would
be fine enough instead of 100 users sending the mail

Hey all,
just a small idea.
Big companies already do it. "Send usage statistics".
Currently extension authors don't get information about deprecated functions.
Of course they are mentioned and logged. But they have to use or read the
publications.
Another way would be the idea of sending them e

Hi List,
There is any way that I can specify an error handler for error 500?
Are you sure you can handle server errors in a web application? ;-)

Søren Thanks for you quick answer,
The only field I found is pageNotFound_handling which only works for 404

Thanks

I have added to my localconf

$TYPO3_CONF_VARS["FE"]["pageNotFound_handling"] =

Hi Chris,
We want to migrate the first website from TYPO3 4.6 to 6.0. In this
website we are using DAM only for references of files. We do not use it
for asset management. Is there already a migration script for this task
or do we have to work on that topic on our own?

Snowbabel is not touching original labels in extensions. So it's not

It is using the "l10n"-mecanism from TYPO3. So xml or xliff files will
be created in

But your Problem is locate
Hi Benni,
Thanks for the explanations.
fileadmin/_migrated_/ contains all pics that were moved from
uploads/pics/ and uploads/media/ previously - except that all duplicates
were removed.
So, yes, please keep the folder :).
Good. But then uploads/pics and uploads/media are not needed anymore,
Hi,
I included it through tempalte->includes->include static(from extensions)->
add 'Frontend user list(feuserstat)'.
And also I found out if I put the typoscript code in
template->general->setup, it works. But if I add it through
tempalte->includes->include static(from extensions), it does not wo
