The 2 XMLs are one and the same. Could represent and empty tag either
way. The XML DOM seems to make the correction for you.

We are seeing a strange error:
48788 record(s) selected to SELECT list #0.
Unable to open pipe for tsort process.

We suspect the problem is related to using RTNLIST with an EXECUTEd SELECT.
Followed by either a

Or doing another EXECUTE with

Might be miles off here but I think that somewhere around UV 10.1.0 multi-threaded
sorts were added.
The different processes performing the sort use a pipe in the UVTMP area to
communicate. These pipes aren't handled by the rotating file pool so if you've got
your full allocation (whatever

Throughbred basic as far as I know isn't Pick. The last time I saw this
was with a software package called Payplus.

Thoroughbred Basic (http://www.tbred.com) is a dialect of Business Basic
along the lines of MAI's Open Basic, Basis' BBx and Best's ProvideX. It's
nothing like any of the Pick style Basics, although there are a few vague
similarities. It is interpreted (no p-code) and file I/O is drastically

All of the users that I have who run wIntegrate experience a popup dialog
that happens seemingly at random. The dialog says:

As Jeff mentioned, or should I say link-informed us, Thoroughbred Basic

This is becoming a real issue for us too as we have a lot of VPN users.
We really need the keep alives option in winteg. How do we make this
happen?
We are indirect and tracking is an issue, so does someone with a direct

wIntegrate periodically looks around the network for licenses with the
same serial number but a new date/time. You should only be seeing this
message when a new copy of wIntegrate is installed onto one of your

If this isn't the case look at your system clocks etc (time sync program
maybe?)
We use it over a VPN without problems. Must be our VPN client software

The dialog normally occurs when someone changes licensing information.
Suggest reviewing licensing information to ensure that registration,
licensed users and serial number is correct. You may also want to run the
routine USERSTAT.EXE to review wIntegrate licensing information on your
network.
Hi.
I am developing an application using JDBC accessing a Unidata database. I am using
Uniobjects to retrieve the data and I know I have to build views to access the
multivalue fields, but can I also access virtual fields or do I have to recreate them?
Thank you.

We are using CISCO's VPN software. With email running, it works fine
since email is always creating traffic with the exchange server and/or
pop email boxes. But if you're only running winteg (we have the 3.x
version) it eventually times out the user. I checked the help with the
