Ctrl-H for Replace.
and pressing Ctrl-H gets me the option to insert a Hex value.

work after a virgin install? The user needs to set each of the paths to
pre-existing directories that the install created?

If anyone is interested I've done a writeup of the new ADO.NET provider in the
next issue of Spectrum (that's www.intl-spectrum.com for details).
It seems to work pretty well, especially if you restrict it to calling remote
procedures. Use SQLExecDirect() in a BASIC subroutine and

No - it does set the paths on install (the instructions were just a
double-check), but you need to choose which language to use as your default,
