How do you tell from the buyer's order list which devices are old vs
newer? ubnt support helped me figure out the eirp thing that was
causing differing power-levels, don't understand why I hadn't
encountered this before

How are you handing out ips? Are the duplicates in the same segment? What type
of router is on the headend?

sometimes the connection behaves like it dropped or it did drop. Ping
times are erratic. Dupes are just one of many things to consider and
need to discover how to eliminate possible problems till I find the real
problem.

Divide and conquer. Take down the APs and BHs until it's fixed. Then add
things and see when the issue comes up.

An ip conflict would only affect the devices with ip's that are conflicting,

We had an issue not long ago where we were doing DHCP on a network and it was
not being passed from router to router.
The result was a whole bunch of radios going to the default fallback address
which was - you guessed it - the same IP.
Fortunately this was about 15 radios.
I actually wound up
Packet Sniffer and Wireshark.
