Hi all, I am writing to say that I am definitely impressed with the way Unity turned out with the extra-a11y. The alt+tab window modifications and the dash are working well, and even before the extra-a11y packages were added, I love being able to press f-10, and have my wireless connection

Hello, everyone. Sadly, I must report that this magnification issue persists in Ubuntu 11.10 as well. I tested this under a virtual installation of Ubuntu 11.10 with 3D Acceleration enabled. I am going to try to install gnome-shell on the VM and see if it works any better for me. I know

I do have one further question with Oneiric though. BTW Luke, thanks for the quick reply, and maybe you can answer this one too. Is there any way to make a sound play once the lightdm screen appears? I almost have to put my laptop to my ear and listen for the hard drive to stop spinning, in
