Sorry, I'm reopening this because it still might be worth backporting
the current Intrepid version (0.3.0-0ubuntu7). There seems to be quite a
lot of important bug fixes listed in the changelog, including some

I personally do not feel comfortable backporting commonly-used server
packages that have a long track history of needing security update
maintenance because inevitably people lose interest and we cannot
guarantee the same 18 months or 5 years of security updates that the

A pre-backport for Intrepid would be great! With the huge demand for OOo
3 in Intrepid, it makes sense for it to have priority over the Hardy
backport. I'm sure Hardy LTS users won't mind waiting a little bit to
make sure the Hardy backport is stable.
