The filter functionality is actually a separate plugin. It was re-
enabled in KDE 4.2 and is in Kubuntu 9.04, but the konq-plugins package
hasn't been backported to 8.10.

I know jaunty is not released yet, so this request is a bit early.
I would like to see current versions of the bacula-client meta package
backported to 6.06. By doing this myself and others can keep our stable

As I see it, the problem with Hardy is that the version in backports
(2.5.2) doesn't have the fix, only the stable repository version
(2.4.1.) Therefore if you have backports enabled, you won't get a good
version, which ICQ works with.
You'll have to disable backports, remove the podgin and pidgin
