I upgraded from gutsy to hardy, but with a slight problem in the hybernate
action. When i press it, my computer restarts, instead of switching off (
going to hybernation ). Anyone faced the same ?

Three more issues.
1. When resumed from the hibernation on PC, ubuntu stopped responding.
Control+Alter+Backspace helped to re-login.
2. The logout button on shutdown menu is not working at all.
3. Firefox stops responding frequently. Same thing happened with Synaptic.
It recovers within 30 seconds
I was lucky that the iso image is ok... it burned just fine...
will give update about my hardy experience in a day after I try out majority
of the features...

Yes. My experience is not good. Coudn't install KUBUNTU REMIX. I could
boot as a Live CD, but could not install. Got 1 file error.

As Russell bhai suggested check the checksum.
You can also test the OS using some virtual machine to test it. (for
example: VirtualBox).

I have few other issues.
1. Rythmbox stopped playing at one point, and is not working even after
restarting the application later the OS.
2. Logout did not work by clicking the icon. Had to do it by Ctrl + Alt +
Backspace.

Why ubuntuforums looks so ugly if we browse it using ubuntu?
