The shutdown problem seems to be fixed with the latest Feisty kernel
(2.6.20-9-generic).
I haven't tested it more than twice yet, but it looks promising.

I also got a python 2.4 crash along with my bittorrent crash. I downloaded
a cd and Ubuntu Feisty Fawn herd 5 and after 693.4 MB it crashed python.
I had only uploaded a little less than 0.4 so I let it run overnight till 1.89+.
When I clicked finish, it offered to let me report this bug.

My crash was the same as DarkMachine above. I've been running a
bittorrent for over 24 hours straight (sharing the Ubuntu), and when I

Ok, I've had a go at using these instructions to setup the modem on my
laptop, which is an Intel Conexant modem.
I don't think that all the instructions from the wiki are in an
appropriate state to go into the system help, because there are a number
of areas which address Breezy/Dapper only, and
I get the same problem, shutting down while firefox is still open, when
I restart I get this crash report

I don't think it's as simple as that. Both of those were written with
Apache 1.x in mind, and haven't had an upstream release since early
2004. I don't see them getting updating to use Apache 2.x, personally.
