There is one issue left, I have with this cam:
In the images is a 2 pixel wide column on the left side which seems to be
flipped over from the right side of the image. I attached an image snapped in
camorama 0.19 and using the module options autoexpo=0 force_rgb=1.
I get this kind of 'border'
I should also add, that on 7.10 the ubuntu splash screen displayed
during boot is garbled on the hdmi card, this is not the case in 8.04a3
where it works just fine.

policykit 0.7 with policykit-gnome 0.6. That's what I have right now,
and it's broken. I've just upgraded policykit-gnome to 0.7 and it fixes
this bug.

I have just succeeded to manually trigger the bug, even on all my
machines where it was not appearing on startup (that means the (n-1)
machines that had not any problem) by adding some niceness.

tried it with ubuntu's rdesktop via ssh tunnel on a gentoo box's x server and
vice versa.
result: the problem lies in the interaction between rdesktop and the x server
or clipboard.
(ubuntu's rdesktop can copy/paste on gentoo x server, gentoo's rdesktop can't
