I can confirm that on 2.6.22-14 kernel that a suspend from RAM works
except for Sound. This is on a Dell Dimension 8300 w/ 2GB RAM, PIV-HT
and a SB Live sound card. The only way to rest the sound is reboot. I
did not create a new Bug report as this seemed very similar to this

I got an zd1211 based usb dongle that had worked out of the box for a

Ralink USB dongles are broken out-of-the-box for a long time.
I also got an rt73 based usb dongle that works
It is in debian now. I think the only remaining change in ubuntu was
merged, but I am not completely sure (Magick++/lib/Geometry.cpp: build
fix for g++-4.3.).
