This is the output from the bond0 description when the bond has been
brought back up.
The link is now unusable for TCP. SSH does not work into the server even
after restarting the daemon.
You get exactly the same problem if you do

I'm able to confirm that DVD playback is stuck at a black picture when
using the plugins from Intrepid. Additionally, the workaround of moving
libresindvd.so works for me. I also tested Onkar's PPA versions of the
plugins and I was able to watch the DVD.
I'm not certain what exact functionality
I disagree that the message is harmless.
I see a distinct drop in response to my USB keyboard on the machine
running Intrepid v.s. a nearly identical machine running Hardy. There
are other processes affected as well, that's just the most obvious. The
process generating the message is running in a

favorites or the plasma panel, it shows only the gears icon. And wort, in the
panel the desktop icon access is badly created, since it does not launch

This is a new laptop that came with Windows, and I haven't tried
installing any versions of Ubuntu pre-Intrepid. It's possible to install
Hardy and then use the update manager to move to Intrepid when the final
