I tested the commands, Thierry, and there was no difference. I didn't
really hold out a lot of hope, though, because I don't run the WPA
supplicant. Everything works perfectly when I umount the CIFS
filesystems before shutting down. I also found that Suspend and
Hibernate modes work better too
Public bug reported:
I'm running purify on a Solaris 10 (x64) server and have it's output
window redirected to my Intrepid laptop. (via DISPLAY var)
The menus of the remote window doesn't respond to mouse clicks. The
other area of the window works properly. Also the OK button on dialog
boxes

Fn+Volume Up(PgUp)/Volume Down(PgDn) works.
Fn+Wifi(F2) - doesn't work. No OSD; LED doesn't light; no entries in syslog.
xev output shows a tight loop of KeyPress/KeyRelease events.
If Fn+Wifi is pressed after clicking on the desktop, top shows nautilus taking
about 10%

I am experiencing this too with Intrepid. I use wireless connections
from a laptop. Network Manager is dropping the network before the CIFS
shares are unmounted causing multiple timeouts trying to unmount the
during the shutdown process.
