Ok, My mistake was to assume that you were using the .desktop file.
I have found the bug you referenced and have attached a debdiff fixing
it. It was caused by other team member adding an icon to the package
without fully understanding how the debian menu system works.

It is great that you submitted a patch to Ubuntu, but I think this bug

Also, just based on reading the diff, isn't hardcoding the font path

Ischnura, invalid does not mean that the bug does not exist, but rather
in this case, that is it not specific to the ubuntu package and should
be handled upstream.
