I downgraded to Thunderbird 17 ESR which is able to run Lightning 1.9.1.
This work-around will work for me until Mozilla / OpenSUSE can get a

right on the money, and your approach is better than marking the bug(s)
as duplicates. It seems there are several logwatch bugs besides this
one (including Bug #752172 and Bug #1010602 ??) that are related to
upstream Bug

This bug has adversely affected the LogWatch package. Every service
that specifies 'LogFile = messages' in its LogWatch .conf file (there
are 40 of them) is now dead.

One and two finger actions work fine, but the moment a third finger is
introduced, all movement ceases. The click buttons still work, but all
movement on the trackpad is ignored. You can still use another mouse to
move the cursor around. This issue reproduces in Unity as well
I can also confirm that the newly patched RealTek 8.035.00 driver for
the RealTek 8111/8168 loads properly in the 3.8.0-20 kernel and operates
well via the Ubuntu Raring repositories:

I never had this problem, but with an upgrade to 13.04 a similar bug has
occurred.
When leeting banshee play through songs, it correctly increments the
play count at the end of the track.
However if you manually select a track to play, it instantly increments
the play count, and then does so
