Oh... Sorry :-( I didn't notice this. Everything's fine. Thank you.

No deskbar maintainer here??? tracker integration in deskbar is broken
at the moment and will probably be in Karmic. Sad because this one is
probably easy to fix.

I think this could be related to upstart but I don't know how to debug
this.
# sudo start rc-sysinit
or
# sudo start rc
doesn't seem to help much here. Any suggestions about how to debug it?
Thank you.

Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: sysvinit
Since a few days/weeks, scripts in /etc/rc2.d/ (the default runlevel
with upstart if no /etc/inittab is present) are not executed during the
boot process.
I noticed this because cups does not start anymore (see bug #444597),

I opened a new bug against the sysv-rc package. Bug #453473.

Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: gnome-screensaver
I have enable auto-login in gdm. A pop-up is displayed after boot to
unlock my keyring. If gnome-screensaver locks the screen before I unlock
the keyring, typing my password in the unlock dialog makes me not return
the my desktop.

I'm also affected by this bug in karmic since a few days/weeks. I
strongly suspect upstart (or another package related to the new boot
process). I noticed that some if not all scripts in /etc/rc2.d/ are not
executed on boot.
ondemand is not executed. The governor is now set to performance instead
