if you press alt+tab and then let go within a second everything goes
fine, but if you keep them pressed for more than a couple secs until the
screen has finished darkening, THEN it happens.

Turns out I had created a template like your usual new note, but with
the contents unselected.
I feel really dumb now!

Just watch the screenshot. It would be as simple as clicking the space
all pictures 5 minutes checkbox and then dragging and dropping the
pictures in the desired order. The one on top would come 5 minutes
before the second one, and so on.

I'm a Spanish speaker and so is everyone else who uses my computer, so I

That was really useful to start writing right away, so I guess this is a
bug and not a feature.

I tried renaming my .tomboy folder and it works. Moving my old notes to
the newly created .tomboy folder makes the bug reappear, though.
Any idea how to work around it without losing all the notes?

Yes there is. That problem is less serious, because people who use photo
or music management applications typically use them more frequently than
they use nautilus-cd-burner, so they have more time to learn the
inconsistencies. But it is still suboptimal that, for example,
