The problem is due to the zm database already exists in mysql. You need
to delete it before installing zoneminder.
sudo mysql -p
enter your mysql root password

With the last update some of the cards that I have around work better
now (E620, E272, K3520). Having said that, my E870 still does not work
(option_instat_callback: error -108 all over dmesg) and my E220 shows
an erratic behaviour, it mostly works, but from time to time a popup

Even thou the airprime driver does its job, there are still some funky
interactions between hal-info and the kernel. For example, issuing a
FindDeviceByCapability(modem) with two cards at the same time yielded
the following result:

I'm the main developer behind this application and I'd be more than happy to
provide assistance or even maintain it. My development platform is Ubuntu and
its already included on some Ubuntu-derived distros like Guadalinex or Linex.
Further, there's a blueprint where this package is mentioned
for Vodafone Spain, but nothing
refrained you from adjusting it from the configuration dialog. The
development version (VMC2) includes a file with contributed known
working settings by users that ease the initial setup for customers of
