infinite in size, so it's an easy swipe. Swiping up on a windowed

This systemsettle thing is some kind of fluke, because the change that
got reverted does nothing other than *reduce* the frequency with which
friends does things. The revert causes friends to activate itself and
poll things online literally 3x more often.

I had started a branch to support twitpic but after a few days of
struggling with oauth I gave up on it. No changes to friends-app were

So after flashing trusty, adb ceased functioning. It would always just
say 'device not found', on my nexus 7. This prevented any phablet-tools
from working, because they all rely on adb to communicate with the
phablet.

where to find any useful log files (nothing useful gets printed in the
terminal), but when I install the latest hud
(13.10.1+13.10.20131011-0ubuntu1), it causes autopilot tests to crash.
They will run for a

com.canonical.friends interval` ? The default is 15 but yours seems to
be set to 5. Setting it to 15 will improve your battery life if you are

the tests don't even run at all (previously it would get to 127 of 270
before becoming unresponsive). I think this is actually good progress,

Some progress; I've landed fixes for comment #7[0], and comment #8[1],
but the tests still aren't running. mobilespec window opens, is blank,
dims due to being unresponsive, and then crashes. I'm getting some
different console output now[2], note that it takes over 700s to run.

Well, I tried reinstalling cordova-ubuntu-2.8, cordova-ubuntu-tests, and
cordova-ubuntu-autopilot, and it still crashes in the exact same way. So
it seems more like the packages are broken rather than my installation.

Oh, looked a bit closer. many of the assets have been moved to
/usr/share/cordova-ubuntu-2.8/assets/.

Yeah, it's a bit tricky. Technically in order to use everything
installed by gexiv2, we'd need to depend on both python-gi and
python3-gi. But then that would require *everybody* to have *both*
python2 and python3. Well, not everybody has python3, and hopefully soon
there will start to be people

Alex is investigating the removal of qtmultimedia, if so that would be a
huge win. But webbrowser-app is definitely necessary since it provides
the chromeless web view that webapps will be running in in order to look
like native apps.
I've also added all the remaining packages indicated by the
Alex discovered that qtmultimedia was actually not even used. We just
dropped the dep off the packaging without a single code change and it's
fine. Can't wait to see the new mismatch svg once this change lands ;-)

This issue was caused by the fix for #1214350, in which Alex copypasted
the amazon app back into lp:webapps-applicatons, so that it could be
default-installed (although in hindsight I'm wondering if maybe there
wasn't a better way to do that...).
For now the best course of action is probably to
