Libsodium is fully packaged in my PPA and I can install it on Precise.
In fact I'm running dnscrypt from my PPA myself on Precise and a friend
of mine also does, so we cannot reproduce the bug. Could you provide the
full error logs?
FYI, libsodium4 is a binary package while the PPA displays only

On my system the error is triggered by Transmission's BitTorrent seeding
activity or relocating already downloaded data.
Idle requests to /etc/hosts and ~/.config/transmission/resume/* do not trigger

I believe zram-config can be shipped unconditionally. It will decrease
performance on a hypothetical machine with a slow CPU (or low memory
bandwidth) and a really fast storage, but I couldn't find any such
devices on the consumer market.
An Intel paper suggests that zramswap-like setups are
