Btw. the same thing happens if the laptop is in suspend, both if suspend
is triggered manually or automatically if its running on battery power.
The only difference: In suspend the power LED is slowly blinking. But it
can not "wake up".

Addendum: After a second try, the fan was off and the few lines of
output did not appear. The LEDs were still on and the display blank and
unlit.

Screen is completely blank and unlit. The fan is running on low speed,
the LEDs "FnLk" and "Muted Mic" stay on (it's a Lenovo T460s).
Pressing ESC doesn't seem to change anything and doesn't display log
messages.
Approximately three rows of log messages are displayed for a split-
second *before*
Public bug reported:
If I click shutdown it will enter a "limbo" state, where some LEDs are
on but it won't react to anything except holding power for a forced
shutdown. It will drain the batteries this way. Quite annoying.
ProblemType: Bug
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 22.04
Package:
Addition: This does not happen when started as root.

Then QB started OK, with all torrents present (I shut it down and wanted to
restart it, because a lot of torrents stalled... it helps
More btw... looks like I need to update

Alternate-CD: InitRD Kernel needs PAE to run - thus
Public bug reported:
When trying to install 10.04 LTS via alternate installer (supposed to use lower
kernel requirements) then just after the bootmenu the Installation aborts with
a message saying that pae is required.
Please either add a note to the download-page or please simply fix that

Binary package hint: gnome-panel
Hi,
if I try to make the panel bigger than 24px, then just a grey bar is drawn
below the panel.
From 32px and above alle icons and applets disappear. This happens on the
top-panel and
the bottom-panel. On Ubuntu 9.10 it worked fine.
